About Phil Schopick

A gifted teacher, Phil Schopick has been helping students prepare for standardized tests since 1985. He taught classes for the Stanley Kaplan organization for 10 years, specializing in course preparation for the SAT, ACT, GRE, and GMAT. Since leaving Kaplan, Phil has spent 20 years working with students from among the best public and private schools in the Columbus, Ohio area, including the Bexley High School Summer Academy, the Columbus School for Girls, the Columbus Chinese Academy, and Congregation Tifereth Israel. In addition, he has also assisted students from St. Charles Academy and the Bexley, Dublin, Olentangy, Westerville, and New Albany school districts.

My son had his dreams set on NYU Film School but his ACT and SAT scores were too low to be competitive. Phil worked with him online one on one. My son had great respect for Phil and did everything he asked of him. The results? He scored 98% on the verbal section of the ACT and was accepted early decision to the NYU Film School.
